“Mary is an excellent facilitator–I have participated in several discussion groups led by Mary and appreciate her ability to engage the audience, keep the discussion flowing and highlight the main points that were communicated. She helps develop a common vision and action plan so organizations and the greater community can move forward with the changes that need to take place.” June 9, 2011 Ann Austin, Executive Director, United Way of Freeborn County

“Mary is a self starter, focused and sincere in her professional pursuits. Her work and interests focuses on the integration of marginalized people in work and daily life. Mary is very personable and easy to work with. She is a pleasure to be around and always does her share and more. Mary is encouraging and upbeat around peers as well as clients. I am pleased to recommend Mary as a leader and example for others.” May 19, 2011 Pete Schlosser, Professor, University of Wisconsin.

I have worked with Mary for about 10 years in various positions as our organization transitioned.  Mary is very sincere in her work and approaches working with people in a professional and understanding manner.  She has been able to work through difficult situations as a leader of several groups and the groups have emerged from conflicts as healthy and sustainable.   Mary is a very caring, energetic and upbeat presenter.  I have had the opportunity to see her in action with groups of student, adults, new immigrants, business leaders and educators.  She is able to teach and  facilitate all of these groups in an open, fun, yet professional manner.  I always learn something from working with Mary.  She is an excellent facilitator and educator.  I have recommended Mary as a speaker for several of our educational programs and I am looking forward to working with her again.

“Mary has been a presenter/trainer for the Albert Lea School District on diversity. She has given great workshops that I have been a part of. I have also heard many compliments and top-notch comments about her presentations for our school and district, from teachers and administrators.”

“Mary not only knows her subject matter, but also presents in a way that connects with her audience in an intriguing and knowledgeable manner. Mary does her research and makes workshops a pleasant and worthwhile experience. She is a terrific presenter.” May 15, 2011 Dawn Berg, School Social Worker, Albert Lea Public Schools

“We engaged Mary to facilitate a strategic visioning process for our organization. She combined conventional assessment and planning tools with a visioning process to assist us in developing a long range vision. Mary also assisted us with molding that vision into short term goals. Mary is a very capable facilitator. She allows “just enough” conversation to ensure all viewpoints are considered, and accurately captures the essence of the discussion. She is very professional and respectful of the group she is leading.” April 26, 2011

“I have watched Mary masterfully facilitate a community discussion when cultural differences have created tensions within a community. Her work helped the town move in a direction that created mutual respect and the opportunity for increased economic security among the citizens.
Mary also has excellent skills in teaching customer service. I co-taught the At Your Service workshop with her in Albert Lea. She is able to teach in a comfortable, yet very effective, style.” April 28, 2011 Bruce Schwartau, Community Economics Educator, University of Minnesota Extension
